Floral Photography at Highfields Park

Last week me and Toddler Bear visited our local university campus park to have a walk around, a play and to feed the ducks. It was a lovely summery day and we had a great time. The wildlife at the park were very friendly and clearly used to people visiting their home. The ducks and the geese waddled close by which Bear was very excited about, (he loves ducks) and a squirrel came right up beside us almost walking across my legs.

While Bear napped I took the opportunity to photograph some of the beautiful flowers that scattered the campus. Lovely pink blossom filled the tree tops. Expanses of wildflowers edged the park grounds. The grass was full of daisies.  I am pleased we have reached the time of the year when the sun is out, all the flowers are blooming and the outdoors is filled with vibrant colour and pretty, delicate floral shapes. I feel so much happier in the summer.

Here are some of the photographs I took whilst I was there.
