Frequently Asked Questions
I am currently available for commissions and would love to work with you. Please send me an email to discuss your project detailing colours you like and dislike, your desired dimensions, anything you feel is inspiring your piece and your budget. I draw up several sketches of painting ideas for your commission and work with you closely to make sure you are happy before you approve the painting and I begin your final piece. A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required before I start any work on a commission. Once the deposit is paid your commission will be added to my calendar. Please allow 4 – 12 weeks for completion of commissioned paintings. Final payment is to be made after approval and before shipping.

I currently only accept payments through Paypal in my shop. I am hoping to be able to offer card payments in my shop in the near future. If you would prefer to pay via bank transfer or cheque, please message me. I am happy to accept payments via bank transfer or cheque but I will only ship artwork paid for in this way once the funds have cleared into my account so please consider this when ordering.
All pre-made artwork is shipped within 3-5 days of the order being placed. Commissions are shipped once completed and dry. I take great care when packaging my art for shipping. Each piece is wrapped in paper then wrapped in bubble wrap before being secured in either a cardboard box or a padded envelope depending on the paintings size. Larger works on paper may be shipped rolled into a tube to protect the painting. Small works and prints will be shipped Royal Mail. Larger works ship with either UPS or Fedex. All artworks sent will be insured and tracked. Once I have shipped your parcel you will receive an email with the tracking number.
All prints are ordered from a local printing house when you place your order. These then take 7-14 days before arriving back to me and then being sent to you. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of your print.
All sales are final except in circumstances where the art has been damaged during shipping. Please read all descriptions carefully. Once approved there are no returns on commissioned pieces.
Payments in Installments
I truly believe art should be accessible to all. In some cases I may consider allowing a buyer to pay for their art in up to 3 installments. Please contact me to discuss this. No art is shipped from my studio until full payment has been received.
Donating works to charities
I am happy to donate a select number of works to charities that are close to my heart each year. Please contact me to discuss your request.
I try my best to represent the colours of my works honestly. Different monitors may show colours slightly differently. If you are concerned about this please check the work you wish to buy on several monitors before buying.
Sharing my work / Press
I am happy for others to feature my work on their blogs or social media pages. Please make sure you credit my work to me, credit any additional artists or photographers where appropriate and link back to my site. Please do not share any photographs of my children without first asking me. Please only use exerts from my blog posts with link backs to the original on my website, please do not reproduce whole posts. Don’t forget to share your article with me once it is published, I would love to see it.
I retain all the rights to my artwork even after sale and including commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of all my works unless the collector has purchased the full rights to the painting. If you wish to purchase the full rights to your painting, please discuss this with me.
